Classic Conversations [sic] provides students with classical education (St. Tammany News, LA)
“We don’t believe in teaching the test; we believe in teaching students to love learning,” said Alisa Nicaud of the western St. Tammany branch of Classical Conversations.
The younger students were outside on a beautiful day, reciting facts they had learned. Each time they answered, the group skipped, jumped, walked or ran to the teacher and back into place. The motion helps them memorize their facts. The program also utilizes rhythm and speech patterns to help with memorization….
Way to go, Alisa and friends! Thanks for sharing the fruits of your hard work with your broader community.
