Classical Conversations Inc.Promotes Patriotism in Students
Classical Conversations Inc., founded by CNP Member Leigh Bortins, puts on the National Memory Master Competition each year to challenge kids to memorize important facts about foundational principles.
Mrs. Bortins said in an email, “The National Memory Master competition comes with a prize of $10,000 for the annual champion. Students under 12 enrolled in Classical Conversations who meet certain local qualifications send in a video in order to qualify for the national competition. In 2021, 16 US finalists were chosen to attend the national competition in NC based on a patriotic story written and delivered by the students that integrated 24 facts. They did an amazing job, and we thought it would provide CNP members with much hope that America’s future is great and many of our children are still taught to love our country.”
